  • Ming Xu.  Ming has in-depth knowledge in doing business in China. He advises US companies' China strategy including M&A, JV and product sourcing. Ming worked for one of the largest international broadcasting companies as a program producer in Beijing in 1990s, where he gained intimate China business experience & developed global insights. In between, he also worked for Fams, one of the largest marketing research companies in China. His client experience includes Motorola, Siemens, P&G and etc. He worked for HLB international, 11th largest accounting advisory firm, as a financial consultant on IPO, M&A and foreign investment in China from 1997-1999. He started his first company, Harmony Investment International in Beijing in 1999, engaging in trade and investment business. In 2002, he co-founded ToPacific Inc. in Los Angeles. Prior to that, he worked for a US telecom company. He also serves as President of Southern California Chinese Professional Association. He received a Master degree in Communication Management from University of Southern California. He was born in Jiangsu Province, China.

  • James Xu.  Mr. Xu is a recognized expert in international investment banking and portfolio management. Mr. Xu worked as General Partner and Chief Investment Officer of a prominent hedge fund in Great China region before business school . The fund excelled the benchmark with huge edge during his tenure . He received his MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management . He is also the CFA level III candidate and candidate for Uniform CPA examination in California.

  • Samuel Chong. Founder of Los Angeles Chinese Learning Center.  Graduated with a Masters of Science degree in Financial Analysis from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, he holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from University of California, Berkeley, and studied Economic History at London School of Economics and Political Science. Mr. Chong is a columnist for Business Watch Magazine. He worked as a security analyst for Orient Trend Investment Consulting Company Ltd. and the Industrial Bank of Japan. Mr. Chong has been featured on Central China Television (CCTV) in China.
